Profile

YAM Invest is an independent private investment company with significant financial means at its disposal. Its main objective is, next to generating superior returns for shareholders, to support companies and entrepreneurs realise their ambitions and business goals. It strives to do this not only by providing capital (equity, quasi equity and or shareholder’s loans) but also by being a reliable, patient partner and trusted advisor.

YAM Invest focuses on two very different but complementary dynamic economic business sectors:

  • Real estate, with a particular focus on the development of office or residential assets, in Central Europe, Morocco and France.
  • Capital development, in France and Europe, where priority is given to companies in for example sectors experiencing significant changes in their traditional business models due to innovation breakthroughs;

 YAM Invest invests directly or through its specialised subsidiaries, such as:

  • YAREAL International for property development;
  • TIME Investors for its private equity investments; or
  • YAMED Investors for real estate investments in Morocco.

History

YAM Invest, (incorporated, though under a different name, in 2001) was created by four European entrepreneurs, to jointly control Cogedim, a high-end developer in French residential and office real estate.

In light of good economic prospects and strong demand for new high quality real estate, YAM Invest created in 2005 YAREAL.

In 2007, Cogedim was sold to Altarea, creating a unique leading property group of France, active in office retail, and residential development and investments.

The private equity company, TIME was founded together with a team of investment professionals in 2009 with a focus on investing in innovative and profitable European ‘digital economy’ companies.

In 2010, YAM Invest acquires a majority stake in AliutA, a leading French project  management company with strong skills in sustainable solutions.

In 2012 and 2013,  two office buildings are acquired in the Greater Paris region.

Together with a successful local entrepreneur YAMED Capital, a company offering real estate services in Morocco, is created in 2014. In partnership with local investors YAMED Investors invested in 2015 and 2016 in two major residential development projects.

In 2015, TIME’s first fund (TIME I) was completed and a second fund (TIME II) launched.

In 2016, the presence in France is further strengthened by the launch, in joint venture with a local property developer, of residential housing projects in the Paris region.
